Description

This is a stunning copy of the 50th anniversary Japan Edition Assemble. Beautiful gatefold cover holds two 200 gram super heavyweight vinyl records newly cut at Loud Mastering from tapes approved by Robert Fripp. Includes the hype sticker, full-size poster of 6 types of equal size replicas of ob strips from their old Japanese analog releases and Japanese commentary page. The records are in near mint condition as is gatefold sleeve and inner sleeves (one has a 3/4” slit on side). When this record came out in 1969 it was well known that rock icon Pete Townshend liked it and rock critic Robert Christgau hated it. I’m on Pete’s side.
